Instructions on how to send us your flowers
After the occasion, place your flowers in a vase of water until you are ready to package and post them. The key is to make sure the flower heads do not get wet when posting, so following the instructions are crucial.
01.
Carefully trim all stems at a 45-degree angle to help them stay fresh and allow maximum water absorption before packaging.
02.
Gently dampen a few sheets of paper towel and wrap them securely around the stems to keep them hydrated during transit.
03.
Wrap a layer of foil around the damp paper towel and stems to lock in moisture and keep your flowers fresh during transit.
04.
Once the stems are secured with moisture for travel, gently place them inside a food or zip-lock bag to help retain freshness and prevent leaks during transit.
05.
Seal the top of the bag with cellotape to prevent any excess moisture from reaching the flower heads during transit.
06.
Line your box with scrunched-up newspaper or tissue paper to create a soft, protective padding and prevent the flowers from moving during transit.
07.
Place your flowers gently in the centre of the box and surround them with scrunched-up newspaper or tissue paper to keep them snug and secure during transit.
08.
On a note, clearly write your name, order number, and telephone number, and place it inside the box so we can easily identify your flowers when they arrive.
09.
Write a second note that reads “Fragile – Fresh Flowers – This Way Up” and attach it to the outside of your box to ensure it is handled with care during transit.
10.
Take your flowers to the post office and request guaranteed next-day delivery to ensure they arrive fresh and in the best possible condition.
