This will have less of an impact on the environment as less packaging will be needed.
As dried flowers have all the moisture removed from them, they are classed as preserved flowers. Without the moisture in the flowers, they are unlikely to rot, making them last a lot longer than fresh flowers. Although classed as preserved flowers, dried flowers will not last forever. You can expect them to last between 1 and 3 years.

Taking Care of Your Dried Flowers
Your dried flowers will need to be looked after carefully. You need to keep the flowers out of direct sunlight as this will cause the colour of your flowers to fade. Dried flowers can already be quite dull in colour as all the moisture is sucked out of them, so it’s vital that you keep them away from sunlight to prolong the vibrance of their colour.
If your flowers have been placed in a vase you will have to clean them. Dried flowers are much lower maintenance than fresh but as you can imagine they will gather dust. Give them a light dusting with a feather duster or a gentle blow with a hairdryer.Â
It’s also important to keep your dried flowers somewhere where they won’t get wet as moisture can cause mould.
